A reported by The Times newspaper, the Growth Commission today (08 March 2016) launched its Interim Findings at an event at the Houses of Parliament to a packed audience of stakeholders, local MPs and business representatives. At this event, Sir Harvey McGrath, Chair of the London-Stansted-Cambridge-Corridor Growth Commission emphasised that the “Corridor is a success story that competes globally for investment and talent.” Alex Jones also represented the Growth Commission at the launch and commented on the critical importance of improving rail links between London, Stansted and Cambridge.

At the event, Sir Alan Hazelhurst and Michelle Dix also launched the interim report of the West Anglia Task Force – which makes the case for improvements to the West Anglia Main Line, and which is supported by the Growth Commission.
